Pacific City is an unincorporated community in Tillamook County, Oregon. 2. Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge
Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge is located in southern Tillamook County, on the Oregon’s northern coast on Nestucca Bay, at the confluence of the Nestucca and Little Nestucca rivers. It is part of the Oregon Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex. It is established in 1991 to protect one tenth of the world's population of dusky Canada goose. The dusky Canadian geese and Aleutian cackling geese spend the winter in the refuge’s short grass pastures. The refuge consists of seven habitats, including tidal marsh, tidal mudflats, woodland, grassland, pasture, forested lagg and freshwater bogs. It includes the Pacific Coast’s southernmost coastal Sphagnum bog habitat. The Sphagnum bog is home to many interesting species, such as the bog cranberry and carnivorous sundew plant. Nestucca Bay and River system are native home to Chinook and coho salmon, coastal cutthroat trout and steelhead. Many migrating shorebirds, peregrine falcons and bald eagles reside in the refuge year around.

3. Twist Wine Company, Pacific City, Oregon
Twist Wine Company is a small family-owned and run winery in downtown Pacific City, Oregon. Their philosophy is that the best wines are made from grapes grown in vineyards in climates similar to the grapes’ genetic history. They make all their wines in nearby McMinnville, Oregon and serve them at the beach in Pacific City, in their charming tasting room, together with a few exciting beers. The winery was established in 2006 and today offers an eclectic mix of wine, brews and fun. Their tasting room is the place to learn about winemaking or just enjoy a glass of their Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Merlot.

8. Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area
For those who want to witness just how powerful the ocean can be, make your way north of Pacific City towards the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. Cape Kiwanda is a sandstone headline that offers visitors the best vantage point of the mighty ocean, as it is one of three of the beloved Capes Scenic Route. While the views are what draw people to Cape Kiwanda, there are also a ton of recreational activities to enjoy for outdoorsy folk. The park is home to the Pacific City beach, which is a fantastic place to soak up some sun and relax on the shoreline.
