The Howelsen Ice Arena is an Olympic size ice arena that is home to the Steamboat Springs Figure Skating Club and other organizations. It is located on Howelsen Parkway near Howelsen Hill Ski Area just across the Yampa River.

At Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort there are five different lodging locations and options.
Creekside – These cabins opened recently in 2018 and is made up of 25 different units. Creekside can be found in three locations throughout the resort. Creekside visitors have easy access to the nearby Chalk Creek. These units include brand new amenities, a modern design and reliable Wi-Fi access. Guests have the choice of a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. The rooms are approximately 350-500sf. Many of the new suites include a fireplace and kitchenette. Creekside rooms can accommodate up to four adults.
Mount Princeton’s Cabins – Guests find that these cabins are also a popular choice. These Cabins include a private patio. They are conveniently located a short walking distance from the major attractions the resort has to offer, including the hot springs and spa areas. The cabins include a fireplace, stovetop, stereo, satellite television, spa passes, covered porch, and fully stocked bathrooms. Full-size cabins include one king-size bed, two queen-size beds in the loft and a queen-size sofa sleeper and will can accommodate up to six people. Guests can upgrade this style of cabin to The Large Cabin, which sleeps up to eight people with two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, two queen-size beds in the loft and a queen-size sofa sleeper. Or, they can upgrade to The Condo Cabin, which sleeps two to four people, and has a king-size bed and a queen-size sofa sleeper.
Visitors may also choose to stay in the Lodge. Located directly in the center of the Resort, patrons have easy access to all the main attractions and amenities. The Lodge offers nine different room configurations, designed uniquely to fit the needs of their guests.
Cliffside - Guest room options include one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, with an open layout and bathroom. Patios provide guests with a daily panoramic mountain view. Like many of the other lodging options, Cliffside is a short distance from all other resort conveniences.
Hillside - Hillside offers double, queen and king-size bedroom layouts. Many rooms also include a sofa sleeper. The visitors that stay in the Hillside cabins are closest to the recently renovated upper pool and water slide.

Mount Princeton Club Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Club Restaurant includes specialty plates on every menu. The Club Restaurant is conveniently located in the main lodge. Guests can enjoy the mountainous scenery just outside the window as they dine.
There are approximately 20 different hot springs located around the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort that are available to all guests. However, due to cooler temperatures, this attraction is not open year-round. The hot springs season is May through August.
At the Resort’s Spa and Club, guests 16 and older can completely unwind by taking a dip in the popular Cascading Hot Springs and Chalk Creek Hot Springs. Surrounding the Chalk Creek Hot Springs are smooth, circular stones that provide natural warmth to guests. They are approximately one foot in depth, with a sand covered bottom.
Vacationers can then choose to cool off in the exercise pool that sits at a comfortable 95 degrees. Guests could also go to a more historic location such as the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort Bath House. The Yampa River Botanic Park is also home to an array of sculptures which are dotted throughout the Park, including The Turtle, The Frog, Peter, Cherish, The Trumpeter, Nammu, Wings, Buddha, The Stag, and the Apollo Armillary Sundial.
The Yampa River Botanic Park is located at 100 Pamela Lane in Steamboat Springs and is open to the public for free from dawn to dusk from May through October.
